    The Normandy Community is centrally located in the Ft. Liberty Old Post Historic District. Laid out in the Beaux Arts landscape design, the historic section of the community is comprised of 113 homes built between 1928-1939 in three different Spanish-eclectic styles: single story bungalows, two-story single-family homes, and multi-family duplexes. These homes feature clay tile roofs, stucco walls and copper gutters while the interiors boast beautifully refinished hardwood floors and wood burning fireplaces. In 1958, the neighborhood was extended with the building of 48 brick ranch houses. When Corvias became the housing partner in 2003, they continued to enlarge the community with the addition of 50 four-bedroom brick colonial field grade officer houses and 13 brick colonial general officers’ homes.
